Facilities
Technical zone
A 700-m² technical zone equipped with a crane and 10 cradles allows yachtsmen to careen and work on their boats all year long.
The crane can lift boats of up to 8.5 tonnes and is equipped with a free-access winch for masting/dismasting. The crane is operated by port officials.
Fuel
Evian's port is one of the few on Lake Geneva to be equipped with a petrol station.
The self-service station sells unleaded 98 petrol and diesel oil and is open 24 hours a day (payment via EUROCARD, MasterCard and VISA). It is possible to pay in cash by contacting the harbour master's office during opening hours (a port official will carry out the transaction).
Prices
Unleaded 98: €1.50/litre
Diesel: €1.25/litre
Pump-out station (greywater + blackwater)
The pump-out station is located next to the petrol station and handles blackwater (toilets), greywater (showers, dishwashing, etc.) and water from the bottom of the hold.
In order to pump out your boat, you'll need to use a specific tap to fix on the end of the station's hose. This tap is available at the harbour master's office (the €50 deposit will be returned to you when you bring back the cleaned tap).
Video surveillance
To protect against theft and vandalism, the port is equipped with a 24-hour video-surveillance system.
Slipway
The port is provided with a freely accessible slipway for motorboats and small sailboats with removable keels. There is no fee for using the slipway. Trailers may only be parked during the launching or retrieving of boats.
Water / electricity
All of the landings in the new port and some in the old port are equipped with terminals for the distribution of water and electricity. The water is freely accessible (the cost of water is included in the docking fee).
Concerning the electrical terminals, the port is equipped with 3A, 6A and 20A sockets. The 3A sockets are freely accessible and free of charge. However, the 6A and 20A sockets are individuals outlets linked to counters which are rented to the yachtsmen.
